There are plenty of fine parks with tennis courts and bowling greens, sports centers, golf clubs and swimming pools and superb hill top walks in the close by Malvern Hills.
Worcester is easily accessible by road, rail or air. There is instant access to the M5 at junctions 6 or 7 taking you to Birmingham 27 miles to the North and Bristol 63 miles to the south. There is easy commuting to Oxford 57 miles, Cheltenham 25 miles and Stratford-upon-Avon 26 miles. The direct train link to Paddington, London takes about 2 ΒΌ hours and to Birmingham New Street 45 minutes. Birmingham international airport is about 45 minutes by car (via the M5 and M42) and London Heathrow airport about 2 hours (via the M5, M42 or M4 and M25 motorways).
